Move, a basic life habit
Thomas Kieller
Humans, like the majority of the wildlife, have been conceived to move. The abnormality for the majority of contemporary persons resides in their sedentary lifestyle. We must comprehend that regular practice of physical activity has to be an integral part of everyday life, because our body needs it.
Daily, we have the simple requirement to move. Activities do not lack. Walking, running, swimming, cross-country skiing, skating, gardening, walking the stairs are examples which come from a long list of physical activities that one can do to satisfy his or her need of being active.
It would be preferable if that basic habit, being active, be imprinted in the mind of all young children. Much to our regret, we note that active life is not much encouraged in many schools and homes. The result of this carelessness is an inactivity rate over fifty percent and a hundred thousand cases of diseases related to a sedentary life (obesity, diabetes, etc.).
Actually, only laziness can be a shackle to an active life. Therefore, it's important to demonstrate a certain level of will-power in order to live actively.
It is important for an inactive person to change their passive lifestyle for one which is really energetic, and the sooner the better. Those who are sportive must without doubt continue on the good track.
To be healthy, we must move. We must anchor this in our mind.
