Children imitate their parents' behavior
Thomas Kieller

Let's not be fooled by illusions, children are greatly influenced by their parents' behavior. Practice of sports, nutrional habits and the values of children are often the reflection of their father and mother.

Scientific studies demonstrate that children who have inactive parents have a greater risk to have also a sedentary lifestyle. We can apply this reality to nutrional habits. It seems that parents who eat too much have a greater risk to see their children eat too much as well, and eventually suffer obesity.

Even though in adulthood we choose consciously our own path to follow, it's better to have had a good education during childhood. Therefore, in the interest of your children, you, the parents, should show the example by adopting good life habits and by living actively. Later, your children will be grateful for the education that you provided them.

We are not saying that you should practice sports regularly, eat well and be smoke-free, but almost. Ha ha ha! All parents should push their children to be active, to eat well and to adopt good life habits.

A person who was active in his childhood has a better chance of keeping his sport passion rather than a person who vegetated too long in front of a television. Do you need another example concerning nutrition? You have understood the point.

Parents, show your children good examples by being active yourselves. Take the time to forge good life habits for your children. You influence them so much.
